Turned around client's failing total ownership cost reduction initiative with top management visibility; uncovered $194 million in cost savings, reduced capital equipment TOC by 10% and accepted award from senior Defense Department executives at conference hosted by the Washington DC-area think tank, the Institute for Defense Analyses.
CAPITAL ASSET PROCUREMENT
Project: Procurement Management Plan
Analyses credited with enabling $2.7 billion funding for the Army’s multiyear buy of new & remanufactured vehicles in the 10-ton, 6-variant HEMTT heavy truck fleet family of vehicles. Produced execution plan and cost baseline; guided plan through the Army cost audit to signoff by the Assistant Army Secretary for Acquisition, Logistics & Technology.

ASSET VISIBILITY
Item Unique Identification Program (IUID) Project
Spearheaded the client's introduction to the IUID asset marking program, an initiative to improve logistics readiness through asset visibility throughout the supply chain. Liaison to program sponsors and researched program requirements for our Army client.

ACQUISITION DOCUMENTATION
Environmental Analysis Project
Produced the Environmental Analysis for the US Army's Rapidly Emplaced Bridge System (REBS), a required deliverable for achieving Milestone A approval and proceeding to eventual production and procurement by the Army.
